Almost there - a change in seasons

Here in Australia we have begun the sixth month of the year.  It isn't quite the winter equinox yet, but I am starting to feel just the slightest change in temperature.  Of course, in southern parts of this great continent, they already have their scarves and boots on, but here in the north, we haven't had to have so much as a jacket out of the wardrobe yet.  The temperature has dropped a couple of degrees and the days are beautiful and sunny - where I live that is,  It still feels a lot like summer, but it is supposed to be 'winter'.  

I guess for many in the northern hemisphere, the longing is there for longer days, plenty of sunshine and temperatures that allow for lazy days at the beach or time around the pool.  I hope you are starting to feel the warmth building!  Of course, the northern summers are a great time to vacation and travel to places where there are blue skies and fine weather.

This week I have an older kit on a great sale at the Studio.

New Coordinated Collection at The Studio

Happy April!  I hope Spring is happening around you and you are experiencing all the delights of the outdoors.  Here in Australia it is Autumn but in the tropics, we are just starting to notice a tiny change in the temperature.  It's just a couple of degrees cooler and the nights especially are more pleasant.

So what does Spring mean for us as scrapbookers?  Well, I'd have to say that the pages I'm seeing are full of bright, happy colors and the photos express an exuberance that speaks of joy and outdoor activity.

At The Studio, April means it's seasonal coordinated collection (CC) time and of course this one is for Spring.  It is called "Rainbow Bright" and I chose to call my contribution "Sweet Sensations". It is filled with sweets - as in 'candy' or 'lollies', if you prefer.  It's for all of us who have a sweet tooth, and great for scrapbooking party or celebration photos.
Until April 28, each pack will be just $1.00.  After that they will revert to regular prices.

Good morning - (good evening) - whichever fits.  LOL  It is Tuesday morning in Australia.  I've been back from my vacation for a week now and I'm starting to feel as if I'm back in the groove.
So much has been happening and I need to do a catch up to keep you, my readers, in the loop.

The BIG NEWS from the Studio is that at the end of last week the brand new COMMUNITY was unveiled - new Forum and new Gallery.  It is fantastic!  Some things are a little different and will take a bit of getting used to but once you are settled in, you will LOVE it.  I urge you to take some time to explore!  Exciting new challenges have been posted.  Why not participate in at least one this month?
