I'm a little Irish, yes, I am

Going back on my maternal Grandfather's side of the family, I have roots in Ireland - northern Ireland.  I've always loved Irish music and Irish dancing and I love the lilt in their speech, but it wasn't until my brother did the family history, that I found out why!  I have some Irish blood in my veins, so I'm a little Irish.

I guess that's why I called my latest collection, "A Little Irish".  I wanted a collection that would fit somehow with St Patrick's Day without it being about pots of gold and rainbows.  I searched for elements that fit in with my theme so that it would be 'the real deal'.

I've been to Ireland a couple of times and I loved everything about it.  I wanted to draw on my own memories and experiences which is why you will find blackberries, for instance.  I loved wandering down a narrow country lane and picking blackberries that were growing alongside.  I loved the swans gliding serenely on the lakes.  I loved learning about the mysterious 'stones' in the Caldragh Cemetery on Boa Island. Then there were visits to the linen factory in Lisburn and finding out about the pottery made at Belleek, and seeing the fine crystal at Waterford.  I loved the quirky sweet shop in Killarney. Then of course, there were the natural wonders such as Giant's Causeway, the Cliffs of Mourne and the beautiful scenery along the Ring of Kerry.  I could go on and on...suffice to say, I enjoyed Ireland immensely - and I haven't even begun with the pubs, the music, the dancing, the humour...

Instead, let me introduce you to my new collection:  "A LITTLE IRISH".  This collection has sixty-one unique elements, 15 beautiful papers, 2 page border clusters, 1 frame cluster, 1 floral cluster, 4 themed photomasks, and 10 ready-to-use wordart (mainly Irish blessings and proverbs.)
The collection is currently 35% off - the bundle of course, is the best buy at less than half price. It's exclusive to The Studio and you'll find it HERE.
